June 2-6 blog
Dear Students and Parents,
I cannot believe there is only one more hour of school! I want to thank everyone for always volunteering his or her help and also for being so kind to me as I walked into a new classroom back in January. Every year at this time, I begin to feel a little sad. I am not only sad that I will miss my amazing class, but that most likely I will not see most of my kindergarteners-soon to be first graders again. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back to Todd Hall next year because there are not enough students signed up for kindergarten. I have high hopes that I will find another teaching position in which students, parents, and staff open up to me like at Todd Hall. I will miss each and every student for many different reasons. I will always remember…
Jimmy’s excitement everyday as he came into the classroom.
Stephen’s leadership skills.

Submitted by Ms Knowles on Fri, 2008-05-30 14:03.Wow… We have just ended our hour-long concert put on by one of the kindergartener’s brother’s. He was not only amazing, fun, and loud, but also so entertaining that every single person from Todd Hall was up dancing the entire time! We learned about instruments and about rock and roll. The K-2nd graders were mixed together doing Congo lines, the twist, and bopping their heads up and down. Teachers were also boogying down. Thank you to Ms. Muno for putting it all together.
Our crazy friends in room 401:
Andrew, Glen, Madni, Naseem, Jimmy, and Mark had their hands around each other’s backs and were walking around in circles.
Shayna let her hair down and joined the Congo lines with Amani along with the others.
Julia, Sara, Michael and Peter hung on tightly together. They chose to watch friends more than to dance.
Whispers of Summer!

Dear Loved Ones of Room 403,
The countdown has begun! There are just 6 more days left of the 2007-2008 school year! I have already enjoyed listening to all the summer adventures that await the little ones. Some will be traveling cross country while others will be traveling across the ocean. The remaining students, as well as myself, will have summer days full of learning opportunities, swimming pool fun, and yummy bar-b-ques! I am looking forward to plenty of reading. I already have a shelf full of reading materials that I can't wait to get my hands on.

Last week the kindergarteners walked, walked, and walked! We walked along with the older kids around the outside field for about 45 minutes to raise money for the PTA. They really enjoyed the cups of water they were allowed to grab and drink and the loud music. Ms. Knowles was even surprised at how tall the kids at the middle school were compared to her! We were able to dance and walk to the beat of the music.
