Dear Parents,

I am so happy to meet with all of you these past two weeks for our spring conference! It was fun to show off your child's work and see how far they have come! I hope you enjoyed hearing about some of the ways you can help your child at home as well.

The year is going by so fast! Just a reminder to sign up your child for this summer school if you are interested!

The children have been practicing their writing skills. They wrote you a letter in class today. Please have them read it to you. I also sent home reading and math homework today as well. Please have them send it back to meet any day next week.

Th children have been learning about Earth Day which is next week. I have been reading many books, doing art projects and making mini books about how to take care of the earth.

News from Room 207
We continued our unit on birds. Thank you for completing the bird-watching assignment last weekend. The children seemed to have fun looking for birds in your neighborhood! Next week we'll take a break from our bird unit to learn about Earth day and caring for the Earth. As you probably heard, we loved our field trip to the Marriott Theater yesterday. :) The Seussical musical did not disappoint!!!
