We "partied as hardy" as we could manage on Friday before our vacation break. The room mothers had all well in hand as the children made adorable Frosty the Snowman in both classes.  The room mothers, again, were very clever, as they prepared healthy snacks that related to our wintertime topics, Krispie Snow Men and tasty gingerbread boys (ginger is a medicinal spice, I hear). The children loved each and every activity. A big thank you goes out to all who planned, helped out with crafts, served and cleaned up. We have some terrific volunteers! You're support and participation means everything to us.Â
Another big thank you for the many notes, gifts, candies, etc. that were delivered to Ms. Jude and myself. You make us feel very appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
SEE YOU JAN. 7th
Thanksgiving Helpers!

My goodness it's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is nearly here! The school is filled with turkey-inspired art- it's quite a sight to behold!
Children love to be included in holiday traditions, including preparing for Thanksgiving. I found this website article to have some interesting ideas on how you can include your child in holiday preparations:
One of my favorite ideas is asking your child to decorate the place settings for all guests. How adorable! Not only will you appreciate the extra help, but your child will have wonderful memories of how they were an important part of a lovely holiday. Working with your child may also provide a great opportunity to talk about the things for which you are both thankful.
