Winter lips

Dear Parents,

During this winter season it will be helpful if the children had their own tube of chapstick to carry. The cold winter wind hits their moist lips and then their lips become chapped. I have been seeing and treating a lot of this so far and think it would be better for them if they did not have to continually leave their classrooms for vaseline. If you do give them a tube please be sure to tell them it is only for their use and NO sharing should be done.

HEALTH RECORDS

Dear Parents,

I am in the process of checking the children's immunization records. I want to remind you all that if you have a child in the Pre-K or kindergarten class be sure they have their health records with the shot history in my office.

Dentals, Vision and report cards

Hello all, report cards are due out on the last day of school. Please be advised if your child is missing any health records they will NOT receive their report card. This would include a vision exam for the kindergarten students and the dental exams for the kindergarten and 2nd grade students. You still have time to get them into my office, please do so ASAP.

Dental forms

Dear Parents...... I have recently sent home reminders about the dental forms that are due. Please try and take care of this quickly. They are not due until May 15th, but I do not want you to be rushing around at the last minute. Your help with this is greatly appreciated.

Student records

Hello everyone, now that we have finished with the health records we need to move onto the vision report that is now a law in Illinois. Please get these reports in to me otherwise we will have to hold your child’s report card when they come out.

Also, even though the dentals are not due until May 15th, please try and get it done early. This way as the end of the school year approaches you will have one less thing to worry about.
