Dear Loved Ones of Room 403,

The countdown has begun! There are just 10 more days left of our kindergarten year! Can you believe it? It truly feels like just yesterday that we started the 2007-2008 school year. The busy bees will soon be big first graders!

**There will be no school on Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial Day!**

**Our final field trip to Lincoln Park Zoo is on Wednesday, May 28th. If you have received a letter confirming that you will be a chaperone, please arrive in our classroom no later than 8:45 a.m. The kindergarten class will be leaving promptly at 9:00 a.m. on this day. PLEASE make sure your child arrives to school on time as we will not be able to wait for any tardy students.**

**Move up day will be on Tuesday, June 3rd. We will be visiting Mrs. Barringer's first grade classroom. This visit will grant us a sneak preview of just how wonderful first grade will be!**

**On Friday, June 6th our the Todd Hall kindergarten classes will be celebrating the completion of a successful kindergarten year by having a picnic! The picnic will be held in our kindergarten playground at Todd Hall. If you have not done so already, please return your child's picnic form as soon as possible!**

**Monday, June 9th will be our final day of school! Your child will start to gradually bring their belongings home. Be on the look out for art projects perfect for being a keepsake, binders simply full of hard work, and personal items (i.e., extra clothes, gym shoes, supply boxes).
