Walas Weekly 3/8/10

We've had another busy week of fun and learning. In science we did several experiments as we continue to explore the world of sound and light. All the fairy tale books are in the illustrating process. We have also begun our mystery unit. We started off by reading a Cam Jansen book and discussing terms like - clues, suspect, culprit, evidence, etc. The students have also been learning the art of asking questions both verbally and in written form. In math we began our unit on fractions. Please continue to practice subtraction facts. I am looking forward to see the musical instruments your little inventors will create on Monday March 22.
